Frequently Asked Questions

What is sim racing?

Sim racing, or simulated racing, is the use of high-tech hardware and racing software to recreate the experience of real-world motorsport. With realistic physics, force feedback, and professional-grade controls, sim racing allows you to feel like you’re behind the wheel of a race car while in the comfort of our sim racing lounge.

What equipment do you use?

We use Podium1 racing rigs paired with industry-leading sim gear from MOZA Racing and Asetek SimSports. These setups include direct drive wheelbases, high-performance steering wheels, and load-cell pedals for the most realistic driving feel possible. This isn’t simple arcade racing, this is the real deal.

What is iRacing?

iRacing is the world’s most advanced online racing simulator. It’s used by amateur drivers, sim racers, and even professional motorsport teams to practice, compete, and improve their skills. It features laser-scanned tracks, real-world physics, and licensed cars from F1, NASCAR, GT, rallycross, and more.

Do I need to be an experienced driver or gamer to enjoy sim racing?

Not at all! Sim racing is for everyone. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned racer, we’ll get you comfortable with the controls and help you select the right car and track to match your skill level. It’s easy to get started and incredibly fun to master.

Can I bring friends or book for a group?

Absolutely. Our sim racing lounge is perfect for group bookings, birthday parties, corporate events, or just some friendly competition. We offer multiple rigs so you can race head-to-head in real time.

What kinds of cars or tracks can I race?

From Formula 1 and GT3 to rally cars and vintage touring machines, we offer a wide variety of cars and tracks from around the world. Thanks to platforms like iRacing, you can race on laser-accurate versions of tracks like Nürburgring, Spa-Francorchamps, Daytona, Suzuka, and many more.

How long are the sessions?

We offer flexible session times ranging from quick 30-minute sprints to half-day and full-day endurance-style sessions. You can also book custom sessions for groups or special events. Visit our Booking page for pricing and availability.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Nope — just bring yourself! We provide all the gear, including racing gloves and headsets. If you prefer, you can bring your own gloves or sim gear (MOZA or Asetek wheels, sim shoes, etc.), but it’s not required.

Can I use my own iRacing account?

Yes! If you're already an iRacing member, you’re welcome to log in and race with your own account and preferences. If not, no worries — we provide access to our in-house accounts so you can jump right in.

How realistic is the driving experience?

With direct drive wheels and load-cell pedals, and realistic racing software, the experience is about as close to the real thing as you can get without a helmet and fire suit. Every bump, curb, and slide is felt through the controls. The immersion is intense and addictive.

What is the minimum age to race?

We recommend ages 12 and up, but it mostly depends on height and reach. Our rigs are built for adults but are fully adjustable, and our staff will ensure younger drivers can safely and comfortably use the equipment.
